Alex, whose father is the owner of the powerful oil drilling corporation Price, receives a special assignment: to ensure that drilling operations on an Indian Reservation remain undisturbed. Sarah has a different goal: to stop all oil drilling. After her protest leads to a wild chase, Alex and Sarah mysteriously enter a magic gate that leads them into a strange world characterized by perpetual darkness. Only together they will be able to get the key from the depths of a lake in order to return to their planet. Can they overcome their differences and become a team?
