GAEL Y LAS SOMBRAS DE LA HUIDA is the second story in the GAEL series. In this installment, the cat burglar is given a tough assignment to steal something from Duschek Mansion, one of the most exclusive spots on the island of Majorca. Gael is involved in a plot that is a mixture of suspense, lies, action, and romance.

Through this accessible graphic novel, students will have fun while they learn. Readers can easily follow this exciting story to the end through the pictures and use of casual language. Plus, students will learn language from the street, as the story is full of colloquial (and even some vulgar!) expressions.

To aid in reading, the GAEL series includes footnotes, a monolingual glossary, and a glossary in three languages (English, French, and German) at the end of the book. It also provides many activities to guide reading, expand vocabulary, and provide greater detail about cultural aspects.
