About this session
Teachers in the same department often teach different languages with different scopes, different rubrics, and no shared path from Novice to Intermediate. This session shows how the Reporters series (Spanish, French, German, Italian) gives your whole department one project-based, proficiency-driven framework: common unit structure, shared Can-Do targets, and consistent assessment across levels. Attendees receive a free copy of KWL's Vertical and Horizontal Alignment Guide to map the sequence for their own program.

About this session
Language learning becomes transformative when students move from completing tasks to acting with purpose, making choices, and negotiating meaning across cultures. This progression from action to agency frames the learner as an evolving intercultural project. Proyectos brings this vision to university Spanish through meaningful, action-oriented learning. In its Second Edition, the program sharpens that path with updated cultural content, clearer linguistic support, broader representation, and a stronger digital experience.
