Diversity and
Equity Statement

Our mission

At Klett World Languages, our mission is to bring individuals together, improve mutual understanding, and promote peace and prosperity through competence in world languages and by developing an appreciation of different cultures.

Our materials

We believe that by creating language programs that are diverse, inclusive, and encourage meaningful communication, we can foster global citizenship in and out of the classroom.

With our materials, students will develop an understanding of global equity by learning about a wide range of identities and communities.

Students can use our programs as stepping stones to view the world’s complexities and cultural richness.

Our business

We aspire to operate as an inclusive, diverse company, actively seeking partnerships with minority- and women-owned businesses.

We recruit and hire people without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or protected veteran status.

We acknowledge that we are on the traditional territories of the Indigenous peoples of Canada. These lands have been inhabited by various Indigenous nations throughout history.

We recognize the rich cultural heritage, deep connections to this land, and the enduring contributions of Indigenous peoples. We are committed to honouring and respecting the Indigenous peoples and their traditional territories as we work and live on their land.

As a company, we strive to continue learning about the histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous communities, and we are dedicated to building positive and mutually beneficial relationships with them.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work toward reconciliation and a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

If you have any questions or feedback about our commitment to diversity, please email us at diversity@klettwl.com. We’d love to hear from you.
