Salary: CAD 75-85,000 Bonus: up to CAD 5,000 (contingent upon sales results and employee performance)

Klett World Languages proudly serves customers across Canada. We are looking for Sales Consultants to develop and implement a proactive market strategy designed for Canadian educators and students. This position will work to develop strong relationships with new and existing customers by advising, training, recommending solutions, and providing service and support. Collaboration is a key part of this role, as this position will coordinate on a day-to-day basis with Klett World Languages’ international leadership in Barcelona as well as sales and operations management in Chicago. Travel opportunities and dedicated office hours are required.

Job details
Key responsibilities
- Promote the current language program(s) at all levels (K-12 and Higher Ed) within Ontario, Quebec, and other parts of Eastern Canada.
- Collaborate with sales team colleagues and management to strategize sales plans.
- Travel to conferences and adoption presentations to help close business.
- Provide exemplary customer service by building relationships, investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management and editorial teams.
- Conduct promotional and post-sale training in person and via video conferences.
- Engage in efforts to support sales and customer satisfaction, including the curation of materials, PowerPoint presentations, handouts, standards correlations, etc.
- Attend local, regional, and national conferences as appropriate. Create and give presentations.
- Manage and organize contacts within a CRM platform (Customer relationship management), including case notes.
Qualifications, knowledge, and skills
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- 2+ years of experience as a world language educator.
- Fluent in English and French (required) and Spanish (preferred).
- Profound knowledge of the Canadian educational system.
- Experience as a second-language educator in Canada.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including some weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable picking up boxes up to 30 lbs and moving boxes with use of platform or hand dolly.
- Must be able to stand for long periods at conferences.
- Ability to pack boxes and equipment in organized manner.
