Job description
We are looking for an IT Manager with a versatile technical profile and strong autonomy to join our office in Chicago (USA). This person will act as the local IT Manager, responsible for the support, maintenance, and technical coordination of the site, in constant alignment with the policies and procedures set by our headquarters in Barcelona. The role will report functionally to the IT Director (Spain) and administratively to the Director of Operations (USA).
This is a key position for executing projects, managing IT operations, integrating systems, and ensuring the continuity of local IT operations within the local environment. We are seeking a solution-oriented professional with a global mindset and strong technical leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support (Windows/macOS) to internal and remote users, as well as within project contexts.
Manage cloud and/or hybrid environments, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Adobe, and WebApps, among others. - Plan, execute, and oversee technological projects (migrations, upgrades, new services…).
- Document technical processes, incidents, configuration changes, and inventory updates.
- Ensure system security, continuity, and availability (backups, patching, monitoring, updates).
- Collaborate with external technology providers and coordinate contracted services.
- Enforce IT policies and standards defined by the headquarters.
Maintain continuous coordination with the IT team in Barcelona. - Provide local technical leadership and support for business continuity.
- Actively participate in iPaaS integrations between ERP, CRM, eCommerce, etc.
- Contribute to national IT projects and, when necessary, to international initiatives.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
At least 4–5 years of experience in technical roles with significant responsibilities. - Strong experience in advanced technical support (hardware/software), networking, systems, and cloud environments.
- Experience with cloud environments, particularly Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
- Fluent English and a high level of Spanish (other languages, such as French, will be a plus).

Position Highlights
- Full-time position with a 90-day introductory period. Employment is at will.
- Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch break).
