Klett World Language and the Language Connects Foundation Launch the LCF/Klett World Languages Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom

Celebrating Educators and Students Making an Impact in Sustainable Development Education through Language Learning

[Chicago, IL: April 28, 2023] – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Klett World Languages and the Language Connects Foundation are proud to announce the launch of the LCF/Klett World Languages Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom. This award celebrates and rewards K-12 educators, higher education educators, and college or university students who have effectively integrated the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their classroom curriculum and projects.

 

The LCF/Klett World Languages Award for Sustainable Development Education in the World Language Classroom seeks to recognize and celebrate educators and students who are making a significant impact on sustainability education through language learning. The award is open to K-12 educators, higher education educators, and college or university students from the United States.
