DEUTSCH LEICHTER LESEN is a new series featuring original texts in an abridged and simplified version to accommodate learners of German. Reading comprehension will be supported by exercises, word explanations, and a glossary with additional information. 

This series is recommended for K-12 students.

The brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler created the sneaker brands Puma and Adidas. They started with their shoe store supervised by their father, who was a shoemaker, but as they gained fame, their relationship cooled. After Hitler came to power, they joined the Nazi party, and at the end of World War II, Adolf betrayed his brother; a factor that definitively separated them. Rudolf then created his own brand, Ruda, which was soon renamed Puma, and Adolf remained with the family business, which he renamed Adidas.

This revision of the successful textbook “Wir neu” is geared towards middle school students and is particularly relevant for classes that have limited contact hours each week. The digital materials create a fun way for students to learn and help teachers to change things up in the classroom.

The ZOOM 1: FLE Workbook is a component of the Zoom collection, a FLE (French as a Foreign Language) textbook series for children.

It is a supplement for the ZOOM 1 Textbook and is intended for FLE courses abroad, in a non-Francophone context. It includes:

• Engaging activities that reinforce the learning of the textbook content in a fun way (crosswords, word searches, etc.).

• Numerous tasks to promote a thorough development of writing and linguistic competence (vocabulary, grammar, and phonetics).

• Activities (observation and reflection) to become familiar with diverse cultures from around the world.

• An illustrated glossary.

The ZOOM 1: FLS Workbook is a component of the Zoom collection, a FLE (French as a Foreign Language) textbook series for children.

It is a supplement for the ZOOM 1 Textbook and is intended for learners who live in France or in French-speaking school contexts. It is particularly suitable for children enrolled in UPE2A.

It includes:

• Engaging activities that reinforce the learning of the textbook content in a fun way (crosswords, word searches, etc.).
• In-depth work on vocabulary and writing intended for French courses of 4-5 hours per week.
• Interdisciplinary pages that aim to provide learners with vocabulary for non-linguistic disciplines (math, history, etc.)
