Krabat
Krabat is a poor boy who must beg to survive. One day, curiosity leads him to the mill of Koselbruch, which is surrounded by chilling stories. There he meets the master miller, whose figure is shrouded in mystery, and who takes Krabat under his care as the twelfth apprentice. Over the next three years, Krabat not only learns the trade of milling but also becomes initiated into black magic. Gradually, he discovers that although magic helps him gain power and wealth, it takes away his freedom. Krabat witnesses how two of his fellow millers fail to free themselves from evil. He realizes that the master miller is the devil and that Krabat is in danger. Only the unconditional love of a girl can save him.
