In these fantastic stories, the well-known lying baron Munchausen tells his evening guests about his travels on land and water. He survives harsh storms on the water, freezing winter nights and dangerous fights against wild animals. He is the brave hero in every critical situation. He ties his horse to a church tower, shows his riding skills to a distinguished group of ladies, jumps his horse through a moving carriage and even manages to land on the moon.
