Helping Minnesota students achieve proficiency

About KWL

Klett World Languages (KWL) is a Chicago-based publisher specializing in World Language learning. Our mission is to help students learn languages they can use in real-life situations. And we do it by creating engaging and meaningful content that sparks curiosity and motivates learning.

Our language programs engage students and build proficiency through a communicative, task-based approach grounded in real-world projects. Aligned with the ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages, which guide world language instruction in Minnesota, they combine affordability and quality with personalized support to ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation.
